Add a bit of magic to a holiday that most all hold dear (Christmas), not that Christmas does not have an incredible amount of magic already – but add twinkle lights and voila you have that additional glimmer, fairly dust, glow… whatever you want to call it.
Whether the lights are strung on your home or the bushes or on a Christmas tree make it almost – an emotional thing. Why is that? Perhaps because we love the glow of those little twinkle lights and the memories that they evoke in the recesses of our minds – or perhaps in our minds eye we envision the stars that filled the sky that magical night when the Angels announced the birth our Savor, Jesus Christ. Oh… Holy Night.
As you hustle and bustle this Christmas season – and YES, I’m calling it Christmas! Despite the push to be all P.C. please remember that…. We actually have a national holiday – set aside and apart by President Ulysses S. Grant, who declared Christmas a legal holiday in 1870. It’s not called “Holiday”, it’s called “Christmas”. So if you believe, please call it Christmas and don’t be afraid to say it, decorate for it, celebrate it, cherish it.
And from my heart to yours…. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, filled warmth, love and laughter as we celebrate this awesome occasion.
